IBS

Do you suffer from chronic bloating or IBS symptoms? Then you may be a carrier of a parasitic infection. There are several studies demonstrating connections between parasitic infections within the gut and inflammatory reactions in the gastrointestinal tract similar to the symptoms of IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). It should be pointed out that similar symptoms from the gastrointestinal tract can be due to many different reasons and should always be investigated thoroughly. We want to offer the possibility to single-handedly rule out one or more parasitic infections as the cause.

Disturbed sleep

Parasites create a general imbalance in the body while many parasitic infections can go unnoticed, others make themselves more clearly noticeable and can negatively affect your energy level and sleep. When the  immune system and gut are out of balance as a result of a parasitic infection it can be expressed in reduced energy and stamina, you can experience tension in the body and anxiety and your ability to handle stress is also reduced.

Weight changes

Parasites can directly affect the intestines by causing increased or decreased appetite in the infected person. A parasitic infection can cause cravings for sweets or fats, which in turn can lead to weight gain. There are also parasitic infections that can increase or decrease your appetite in connection with the fact that they secrete substances directly in the intestine affecting your appetite and inhibiting your absorption of nutrients.

Lack of energy

Parasitic infections are often limited to your gut but have the ability to affect your body to a much greater extent. Anyone affected by a parasitic infection may experience that it is difficult to relax, that the body tenses up, that the ability to recover is reduced and that sleep is affected.

Allergies

Allergies can arise in connection with parasitic infections as parasites get into the intestinal wall where they can cause damage and pockets where bacteria that normally occur in the intestine can find their way in – causing inflammatory processes which over time can lead to symptoms such as a swollen abdomen, skin rashes, food intolerances and allergies.

Stomach and intestinal problems

More often parasitic infections cause diffuse symptoms that are difficult to detect. If you experience temporary or chronic intestinal problems such as IBS, bloating, diarrhea, abdominal pain, gas or constipation – parasites may be a possible cause.

Hudproblem

Hudproblem och hudutslag kan vara tecken på att allt inte står rätt till i din mage och kropp. Parasitinfektioner påverkar direkt dina tarmar vilket skapar obalans och kan återspegla sig i kvalitén på både din hud och hår.
